Ahhhhh! Welcome back to westernized Taipei with tastey breakfast at Starbucks. The employee behind the counter not only understood us, but also repeated our order back to us in English - a far cry from mutely pointing or gesturing while desperately hoping we would receive something edible. While the "real Taiwan" was an experience to be forever cherished, it sure was comforting to arrive back in the big city.
